Winnabow is a small unincorporated community located just outside of Wilmington, North Carolina in Brunswick County. It has a population of approximately 1,647 people (as per the 2010 census) and covers an area of approximately 17 square miles. It is situated near the Cape Fear River and is home to the Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson Historic Site, which played a significant role in the Civil War. The community includes a few small businesses and a post office, and residents generally enjoy a quiet rural lifestyle. Additionally, Winnabow is located just a short drive from nearby beaches and other amenities of the greater Wilmington area.
